    Students from universities in India where English is not a primary language must provide the English Language Proficiency Examination score. English is one of the official languages in Canada and the primary language of instruction at the University of British Columbia (UBC). TOEFL: The minimum TOEFL Score required for Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies is 90 for the internet-based exam and 55 for the paper-based test. IELTS: A minimum overall band score of 6.5 with a minimum score of 6.0 in each component of the academic IELTS test.
