Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) conducts the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) for undergraduate (UG), postgraduate (PG) and Ph.D. programs in agriculture and allied sciences in various agricultural universities across India. AIEEA UG, AIEEA PG and AICE-JRF/SRF (PGS) are the entrance exams conducted for the undergraduate, postgraduate and Ph.D. levels respectively. In addition to ICAR, many states in India also conduct their own entrance exams for admission to agricultural universities and colleges. For example, the Agricultural Common Entrance Test AGRICET is conducted in the state of Andhra Pradesh for admission to B.Sc. (Agriculture) and B.Sc. (Horticulture) courses.
