    The ESE exam is the Engineering Services examination. This exam consists of 3 stages I. e. Prelims, Mains, and Interviews. ESE is a national-level examination conducted by UPSC for engineers. UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts the ESE Exam as an entrance test on a yearly basis to recruit engineering students in different sectors like Telecommunication, Railways, Public Works, CWC, CPES, NHAI, Border Roads, CPWD, IDSE, MS Naval Armaments, etc. Exam pattern of the ESE exam:
    Exam Mode: Offline (paper pen)
    The selection process is done through 3 steps:
    1- Prelims
    2- Mains
    3- Interview

    ESE also known as IES is Engineering Services Examination. ESE is conducted annually by UPSC to recruit engineers in four domains namely Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics & Telecommunications for the techno managerial posts.
