There are two ways to take the Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE): Pen & Paper Test (PPT) and Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates must use computers at specified centres to take the computer-based adaptive testing (CBT) mode. This mode offers a contemporary, effective method of administering the test, guaranteeing prompt results and minimising logistical issues. AEEE is held in online mode (CBT). Admission via AEEE is given in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses at Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore and Nagercoil. The candidates who register for the exam have to book their exam date, time and test centre as per the availability and appear for the CBT test.
