    1- Number of subjects
    CG TET Paper 1: 5
    CG TET Paper 2: 4
    2- Subject name
    CG TET Paper 1: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Environmental Studies. CG TET Paper 2: Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics, and Science or Social Studies/Social Science.
    3- Exam duration
    CG TET Paper 1: 2.5 hours (150 minutes)
    CG TET Paper 2: 2.5 hours (150 minutes)
    4- No. Of questions
    CG TET Paper 1: 150
    CG TET Paper 2: 150
    5- Total marks
    CG TET Paper 1: 150
    CG TET Paper 2: 150
    6- Marking scheme
    CG TET Paper 1: +1 for the correct answer and 0 for the incorrect answer. CG TET Paper 2

    Candidates who want to appear for Paper 1 (primary level between classes I and V) should have:
    Passed XII with 50% or more in aggregate
    Graduated with a Bachelors degree in arts/commerce/Science subjects, having 50% or more in aggregate
    Candidates completing a Diploma in elementary education/special education are also eligible to apply
    Candidates with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education can also apply for the CG TET exam. Candidates who want to appear for Paper 2 (upper primary between VI and VIII) must qualify the criteria for Paper I and have additional criteria of:
    Completed B.Ed with an aggregate of 45% or more.
