CTET exam pattern comprises name of subjects, the number of questions asked in the exam and the marking scheme of Paper 1 and Paper 2. The CTET Paper 1 pattern comprises five sections- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (compulsory), Language-II (compulsory), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. CTET Paper 2 pattern comprises four sections- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I (compulsory), Language-II (compulsory), Mathematics and Science/ Social Studies. Each Paper is of 150 marks and carries 150 multiple choice questions (MCQs). .

CTET is an acronym used for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test and is conducted in two sessions: Paper 1 and Paper 2. Both the papers include a total of 150 MCQs. The first paper consists of questions from the following subjects: Child Development and Pedaogaoy, Language-1 (compulsory), Mathematics and Environmental Studies. The questions in Paper 2 include (four sections) Child Development and Pedagogy, Mathematics and Sciences/Social Studies. The maximum number a student can get in Paper 1 is 150.
