There are five sections in the AIHMCT OAT exam paper namely English language, reasoning and logical deduction, numerical ability and analytical aptitude, general knowledge and Current Affairs and aptitude for the service sector. The test paper will be conducted in the English language only. AIHMCT What is a Written Admission Test conducted by the Army Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology to provide admission to students in its Bachelor's in Hotel Management BHM programme. This is computer-based exam and multiple-choice questions ask in this exam.

The exam pattern for the AIHMCT OAT is as follows:
1. The exam is administered via an online computer-based test.
2. The duration allowed to complete the question paper is three hours.
3. The medium of the AIHMCT OAT test is English only.
4. There are 100 questions, each worth one mark.
5. The questions are objective in nature.
6. There are a total of five sections, each with 20 questions.
