What is the exam pattern for the CMA?

CMA final paper is divided into two groups, group 3 and group 4, each containing 4 papers carrying 100 marks. All the papers of group 3 and group 4 will be 100 marks each. The total duration of the exam is of 3 hours.

In foundation exam you'll get 4 papers of 100 marks each and you need to get at least 40 marks in every subject to pass. PAPER 1: Fundamentals Of Business Laws and Business Communication (FBLC) PAPER 2: Fundamentals Of Financial and Cost Accounting (FFCA) PAPER 3: Fundamentals Of Business Mathematics and Statistics (FBMS) PAPER 4: Fundamentals Of Business Economics and Management (FBEM). The foundation examination is completely MCQ based and you need to select the correct answer out of the four given choices each answer contains one mark. Mode of exam = Offline-centre based Type of questions= Objective and descriptive Maximum marks per paper= 100 Number of papers= 8 Exam Duration= 3 hours per paper Total Number of questions= 120 Marking scheme= No negative marking.
