  • The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is a standardised test conducted for assessing English proficiency of candidates who wants to study or work abroad. The IELTS Academic or General Training test are available on both paper or computer. It is important for candidates looking to score well in their IELTS Test to understand the IELTS Exam Pattern and IELTS Syllabus in detail. The IELTS Exam consists of four sections:

  • The IELTS exam pattern is divided into four sections namely: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. All four sections have a different pattern which does not coincide with one another. The type of questions are also different for each of the sections on IELTS. Let us understand the IELTS exam pattern elaborated in the table below for Academic Test takers:
