What is the exam pattern of IPMAT?

Quantitative Ability- MCQ-40 Verbal Ability- 40 Quantitative Ability- SA-20 Quantitative topics- Set Theory Number System Geometry, Mensuration Data Interpretation Algebra Time, Speed Distance, Time and Work Percentage, Profit and Loss, etc. verbal Ability- Para Jumble Word Jumble Paragraph Completion Reading Comprehension Vocabulary and Analogy Word Usage Fill in the blanks and grammar, etc. The application form of IPMAT 2019 will be released in the second week of March 2019.

<p>IPMAT (Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Indore, for admission to integrated MBA programme offered by the institute. The exam pattern for IPMAT is as follows:&nbsp;</p><p>Section 1: Verbal Ability: This section tests the candidate's English language skills. It consists of 50 MCQs. The section tests the candidate's understanding of topics such as Grammar, Vocabulary, Reading Comprehension, etc.</p><p>Section 2: Quantitative Aptitude: This section tests the candidate's quantitative skills. It consists of 25 MCQs and the second part of this section carries 25 short answer type questions. The section tests the candidate's knowledge of topics such as Arithmetic, Algebra Geometry, Trigonometry etc.&nbsp;</p><p>For each correct answer, candidates will be awarded four marks each and for every incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the overall score. This means, if the candidate has got ten correct answers, then, he/she will be awarded 40 marks in the total score. The IPMAT question paper has sectional timing of 40 minutes per section which the students must adhere to.&nbsp;</p>
