What is the exam pattern of NCHMCT JEE?

<p data-sourcepos="1:1-1:105">The NCHMCT JEE 2026 exam pattern will consist of 200 objective-type questions divided into five sections:</p><ul data-sourcepos="3:1-8:0"><li data-sourcepos="3:1-3:52"><strong>English Language:</strong>&nbsp;60 questions (30% weightage)</li><li data-sourcepos="4:1-4:77"><strong>Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude:</strong>&nbsp;30 questions (15% weightage)</li><li data-sourcepos="5:1-5:67"><strong>Reasoning and Logical Deduction:</strong>&nbsp;30 questions (15% weightage)</li><li data-sourcepos="6:1-6:75"><strong>General Knowledge &amp; Current Affairs:</strong>&nbsp;30 questions (15% weightage)</li><li data-sourcepos="7:1-8:0"><strong>Aptitude for Service Sector:</strong>&nbsp;50 questions (25% weightage)</li></ul><p data-sourcepos="9:1-9:19"><strong>Marking Scheme:</strong></p><ul data-sourcepos="11:1-14:0"><li data-sourcepos="11:1-11:45">Each correct answer will be awarded 1 mark.</li><li data-sourcepos="12:1-12:75">There will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.</li><li data-sourcepos="13:1-14:0">There will be no negative marking for unattempted questions.</li></ul><p data-sourcepos="15:1-15:13"><strong>Duration:</strong></p><ul data-sourcepos="17:1-18:0"><li data-sourcepos="17:1-18:0">The duration of the exam will be 3 hours.</li></ul><p data-sourcepos="19:1-19:17"><strong>Mode of Exam:</strong></p><ul data-sourcepos="21:1-22:0"><li data-sourcepos="21:1-22:0">The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode (CBT).</li></ul><p data-sourcepos="23:1-23:21"><strong>Language of Exam:</strong></p><ul data-sourcepos="25:1-26:0"><li data-sourcepos="25:1-26:0">The question paper will be bilingual, &nbsp;i.e., &nbsp;all questions will be available in both English and Hindi language, &nbsp;except for the English Language section.</li></ul>
