Hi, In brief this is the pattern- No change has been made to the test pattern this year. As the exam is held in pen-paper mode, the exam-takers will be required to mark their answers using blue or black ball point pen only.
The duration of the test is 2.5 hours (150 minutes).
The exam will be held in a single session, from 2.00 to 4.00 PM.
150 objective type questions will be asked from 4 sections namely, General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, Current Affairs and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
Every question will have 4 choices and the candidates will have mark one correct answer out of these. Please ask if

SIU does not accept any exam score other than SNAP for MBA admission. All domestic students, must appear for the SNAP exam if they wish to pursue MBA from SIBM or any of the 16 Symbiosis institutes. The SNAP exam is conducted in December. There are three sessions and questions are asked from- English, Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. The SNAP exam is of low difficulty level but requires practice for scoring high to meet the admission cut off.

Yes, SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude) is compulsory for admission at SIMS Pune. Students must qualify SNAP exam before admission. SNAP is the entrance exam specifically designed for admissions to various MBA programs offered by SIU institutes, including SIMS.  After the SNAP exam, it includes Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test (GE-PIWAT).

No, it's not possible to join Symbiosis Institute of Health Sciences without SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) for the MBA programme. Symbiosis requires a valid SNAP score for admission to all its MBA programs, including those at SIHS. For other programmes SNAP score is not mandatory; students must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute for the desired course.

Yes, candidates seeking admission in the MBA programme of Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences need to pass SNAP. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test is conducted in computer-based mode at test centres. The test includes 60 questions each of one mark. Aspirants who pass SNAP have to further qualify GEPI and WAT rounds for admission.
