My cousin sister is pursuing B.Com from Lovely professional University, Students from all over the world have been studied over there and she is having a number of friends from outside India with whom she is planning to move outside India and start a new business venture. Few points I am sharing which is told by my sister that will help you to make your decision: The programme aims to build in students competent business acumen through advanced study of general subjects such as Organizational Behavior and Cost Accountancy, later allowing them to specialize in a chosen area. The curriculum involves intensive study, culminating with the completion of a research-based dissertation. The fee per semester without scholarship is Rs 80000. Lovely Professional University strongly believes in the fact that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme to students on various parameters. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Students have been awarded with scholarship worth Rs. 100+ crores in last year only. Students get different scholarships as per their performances in the academic as well as in other activities. Commerce UG Programmes (like, B.Com (H), Integrated B.Com (MAIF)has been designed primarily to suit the needs of the students who aspire to be the future managers or entrepreneurs with a strong grounding in accounting and finance. The programme focuses on Honours Elective courses along with regular B. Comcurriculum. Industry oriented courses like CMA, CIMA, ACCA are offered to the students along with regular B.Com curriculum so as to enhance employability. The eligibility varies from 50%-60% as for Honours and specialised programme the eligibility is little stringent. There is no test required to take admission in LPU but you can still appear in LPU NEST for scholarship. The fee of B.Com varies from 58000/- 78000/- without scholarship as it varies from course to course. University provides financial assistance to the students by floating scholarship on the following basis: 1. On the basis of marks in previous class 2. LPUNESTThe University is conducting remotely proctored online LPU NEST from home since month of May and will also continue same in June. 3. Hello Simran, LPU is an outstanding place to pursue your studies. I have experienced in LPU as a student and I learned plenty of things during my graduation. LPU provides the beautiful infrastructure and all required resources to students and staff. I will highly recommended that if you really want to make your career with good level of education then you should go for LPU. When I was seeking college for admission for my graduation, I was quite confused. But after a long comparison with all relevant facts and figures I joined LPU and now I am an alumni of LPU and Decision for LPU was best decision of my life. LPU gave me extra edge in everything. LPU is Great in teaching, placements, infrastructure or other facilities. LPU has around 2300 faculty members in the university. It has experienced, specialised and well qualified faculty members. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognition and accreditation and mark itself among the few of the top private universities. Moreover the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) such as Amazon, Tech Mahindra, ITC, Trident Group, Cognizant Technology Solutions etc. And generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. Hello there, you can check the exact fees from the LPU website. Everything is available there related to courses, hostel, etc. Also overall it also depends on how much you score in the LPU NEST exam. It's basically a Scholarship Exam for getting a scholarship. Every year thousands of students apply for this exam to get a scholarship. It's a good opportunity to grab on.
