Dear Pruthviraj, Welingkar is a legendary B-School so, if you get through Welingkars its fine, but IMT Nagpur and Hyderabad are ordinary colleges, they certainly aren't the best, there are a lot of better players, LPU is one of the top one. The MBA programme at LPU is a great mix of cutting edge curriculum, experiential learning pedagogy, industry interface, projects, internships and consultancies, technologies trainings and many more. The sheer size of campus and number of students provides a plethora of opportunities to students to explore their entrepreneurial skills. The multicultural intake ensures that students learn and understand cultural sensibilities which become an asset in corporate life. The most striking point however is the center for professional enhancement, the students are exposed to new ideas about personality development, professional etiquette, virtues, ethics, interpersonal and networking skills for almost full duration of the programme rather than just a few weeks of placement trainings. This inculcates these qualities in the students in much better way and go a long way into shaping the career apart from cracking the interviews. Coming to reputation, since you asked, NIRF a government agency has ranked Mittal School of business among top 50 B-schools in the country twice in a row, in some of the parameters it has even beaten most Iims and ranked no. 2 in the country !
More importantly, more than 200 companies visit the campus for recruitment of management grads only ! Which is a huge number and a big achievement. More than 97% of eligible graduates get their dream placements. It is not like any other university, you can SEE it from the first step of selection, even Iims have basic eligibility of 50% in graduation, while LPU has raised the bar to 55%. No wonder it has one of the largest intakes in the country which has over 97% placement record. I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. The fee for MMS is around 8 Lacs and for PGDM, it is around 11 Lacs for Welingkar.

The fee for the mentioned colleges is as follows:
1) Prin L.N.Welingkar Institute of Management,Development and Research, Mumbai-The current fees for the MMS program is Rs.3,16,000 per annum.
Note- University Grant Commission, New Delhi and University of Mumbai have conferred Autonomous Status on WeSchool under the UGC Scheme for Autonomous College for the period 2015-16 to 2020-2021. MBA (core MBA /MMS) fees for Welingkar = 316000 +4000 (refundable for upto 1st year)
316000 for 2nd year.
Total = (636000)
MBA (PGDM) Welingkar fee SIS is 11 lakhs total for 2 years
IMT Hyderabad fees= 12 LPA
IMT Nagpur fees =12 LPA

After the declaration of CMAT result, colleges accepting the exam score for MBA/PGDM admission will start the selection process. The candidates who shall have passed they CMAT exam will be required to fill the application forms of their target MBA colleges for admission. Aspirants will need to apply on the basis of their score and cut offs fixed by IMT Nagpur. If a candidate does not meet the minimum CMAT cut off, they should not apply to that college, as their application will be rejected at the first level of screening. The institutes will conduct group discussions and personal interviews to select candidates for final admission.
