Yes, students from non-commerce or non-management backgrounds can comfortably do the PGDM at IMDR. The PGDM course is largely designed to bring students from diverse academic streams—science, engineering, arts, psychology, law, pharmacy, & others—to a common understanding of management fundamentals.
