In case a student withdraws his or her admission, the university refunds some part of the fee. Below is the fee refund policy followed at Jadavpur University:
| Point of time when Application for withdrawal/ cancellation of admission and refund of fees received by the University | Percentage of refund of fees |
|---|---|
| 15 days or more before the last date of admission | 100% |
| Less than 15 days before the last date of admission | 90% |
| 15 days or less after the last date of admission | 80% |
| 30 days or less but more than 15 days after the last date of admission | 50% |
| More than 30 days after the last date of admission | 00% |
