What is the fee structure and rank of Shiv Nadar University and how is its placement?

There have been almost no placements this year at SNU. Leaving CSE apart, where SNU has a partnership with DELL, so they have to take a minimum number of students every year. A few students have also been placed in HP and Amazon. All other branches, have had, at most, a couple of companies coming for recruitment, and they have also not taken more than 56 students per branch. Most of the students from the core branches are going for Masters studies abroad or are going to join the IT industry due to lack of any proper job. The university prides itself in the fact that the students have secured admits in a number of foreign universities, however, it has nothing to do with the university and is only possible due to the hard-work and dedication of the students themselves. More than half the batch of civil and mechanical is still unplaced and they are left on their own to find the job. SNU has a MoU with Cognizant, one of the mass-recruiters of the IT industry, and most of the students have been taken up by it on minimum wages, making the placement statistics of the institute look good.
