Hi Andrileena, the fee for M.A. Psychology course is Rs 50000 per semester. You can appear for LPU NEST and aget a scholarship and a waive off through LPU NEST score. Psychology is the study of the mind and human behaviour. The subject is about how those around us think, what kind of feelings they experience, how they ACT and interact, and what motivates them. These could be social, biological, cognitive or emotional. LPU offers M.A. In Psychology and M.A. Clinical Psychology. These two year courses seek to provide understanding and the answers to the complexity of human behavior with broad focus on Psychological Testing, Psychopathology, Health Psychology, Positive Psychology and Organizational Behavior etc. The eligibility for the programme is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree (any discipline) or equivalent. 5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates, Defence Personnel and their Dependents, Wards of Kashmir Migrants is given by the university. The course seeks to create in students a better understanding of interpersonal issues and interpersonal behavior. In order to take admission in LPU you need to be eligible as the eligibility is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree (any discipline) or equivalent. The fee of M.A. Psychology is 38000/- per semester without scholarship. I came to know from the Alumnus of LPU that this is the university where fee to be paid by the student depends upon the caliber of the student as LPU provides financial assistance to the aspirants by offering them scholarships:
1. On the basis of marks in previous class
2. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test LPU NEST on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship
3. Some national level tests like JEE Mains, NATA NEET UCEED CAT XAT MAT CMAT NMAT GPAT GATE etc.
4. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
5. Board Toppers
6. For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
7. Defence personnel and central armed police forces (CAPF) dependents
8. LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well. # From the above mentioned scholarships, candidate will get one that too which will be maximum one. There are three ways to take admission I. e. In-Campus admission, Outcampus and online admission. Hi, The fee structure basically depends on your performance because LPU offers a huge amount of scholarships to the students. There are two programs in Psychology being offered at LPU:
1) M.A. (Psychology) 2 years (4 Semesters) Fee 38000 per semester (Without scholarship)
2) M.A. (Clinical Psychology) 2 years. (4 Semesters) Fee 58000 per semester (Without scholarship)
