Thapar is known for their strict curriculum throughout the course. They have semester system with minimum 5 subjects in each semester (not to many, not to less) and they ensure that learning is not just limited to books and that is why they encourage and help out their students to get hands-on training side by side. You can check out the course structure for B.Tech CSE (just a dummy, you can check for other coursed too) here - http://www.thapar.edu/index.php/computer-science-engineering/programs/b-e-computer-engineering/syllabi-2017-batch
As far as placements are concerned, corporates like Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Texas Instruments, Whirlp

Thapar Institute is a well renowned privately owned Institute based in Patiala, Punjab. It is one of the oldest institutes in India and has maintained it's quality of education throughout the years. The syllabus is really good that goes properly with the current market situation and needs. Also, the placement at Thapar Institute has seen tremendous growth in recent years and many good companies visit the campus for recruitment. They allow you to form networks, help you grow both professionally and personally and experience things that you wouldn't be able to when studying at university. Internships are so much more than just something to put on your CV, they allow you to find your working style and develop people skills. T. Over the last decade, the institute has placed almost 89-92% of

The placement opportunity of TIET is the one of the placements provided by an engineering college. The avg. Package is approximately 6 lacs per annum and that too in renowned MNCs. You can visit the official website of Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology as it keeps on fluctuating. http://www.thapar.edu/students/pages/fee-circular-and-fee-chart.

    Hi Ashish,
The total fees comes to around 15-16 Lacs. But there are multiple scholarships available that can significantly reduce the fees. Amazing faculty, infrastructure, campus life, comfortable accommodation, food, and placement facilities make TIET worth it. The placements are pretty good at TIET, last year almost 96% of students got placed in many renowned companies like KPMG, IBM, Microsoft, Adobe, etc. The average package is around 7-8 Lacs per annum INR. The highest package goes around 40-45 Lacs. Also, Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology has been ranked 23rd under NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) by t
