For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Dear Mansvi, firstly in order to take admission in B.Design (Interior), one needs to have at least 50% in 12th (with English). The fees structure for the same is 54500 per semester before 31st of May and 59500 per semester thereafter. Thus, this would be considered as Early Decision Benefit (EDB). Apart from this, we offer attractive scholarship scheme based upon your percentage in class 12th. There are four slabs considered for the same i.e. 70-79.99%, 80-89.99%, 90-97.9% and 98% and above, the scholarship amount being 15000,20000,30000 and 40000 per semester respectively. Pertaining to hostel facility, we have categories of hostel 4seater,3 seater, 2 seater and 1 seater (all with sub-categories of AC and cooler). LPU believes in the fact that money should not be a constraint for a student to pursue his choice of studies. Scholarship can be availed in the various courses offered by LPU. LPU offers scholarship on the various categories :- The first and foremost category is that a student can avail the scholarship on the basis of his/her previous qualification or previous to previous qualification which should be minimum of 70 percentage. For instance if a student is applying for a Bachelors degree, LPU will be considering the 12th marks or 10th marks whichever will be higher. LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship. Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc. Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities. Board Toppers For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents From all the above mentioned whichever is higher that will be applicable. The fees structure depends upon the scholarship applicable, as the scholarship amount is reduced from the fee of every semester. Hostel Charges depend upon the type of hostel room, you opt for. University offers room from 1 to 6 seater and even dormitory and further AC and Non AC option as well.
