Altera Institute has a non-refundable application fee of INR 1,499 for the early round and INR 1,999 for later rounds. The fee can be paid along with the application form.

Altera Institute conducts its in-house entrance exam, namely Altera National Aptitude Test (ALNAT). It includes sections such as Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability.
