The tuition charged for courses offered at Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is relatively low so most students can comfortably pay for it. The total annual fee for the MBBS programme is around Rs. 31500 except for the expenditure of uniforms and books etc. As for the postgraduate degree, the financial model is also based on subsidies depending on the chosen profile. As AFMC is a cost-effective platform educating students and offering them compulsory work in the armed forces later makes it a top among the students who want to become doctors.
