What is the first thing that I should do while joining a B.Tech?

The first thing to do is to chose the right specialisation/branch and right college/university. How to choose? You can chose your branch by checking your interests, favorite subjects, passion, personality traits and try to align them with your aspirations. This will be a bit of tedious exercise but worth it totally. This exercise must be done with full honesty and conviction with yourself. You can take help of your teachers, mentors, parents or if anyone is know from good engineering background. Once you decide on your branch it is time to take the next step. Please take note that peer pressure is NOT the right idea for this crucial decision. Some of the good universities are IITs, BITs, NITs, VIT, PEC, Thapar and LPU.

You should look for the university which provides you an holistic approach in life. And in my opinion, I will recommend Lovely Professional University.
