    Greetings,

The full form of CLAT is Common Law Admission Test. It is a centralized national-level entrance test for admissions to the National Law Universities (NLU) in India. The test is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities. Please note that each university may have its own specific admission requirements, so it's always a good idea to check with the specific institution for the most accurate information. For instance, Lovely Professional University may have its own criteria for admission to the B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) program.

    Best regards.

    Hey,
CLAT stands for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), it is a national level entrance exam for admissions to candidates in undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) law courses offered at 22 NLUs and other colleges/ universities accepting exam scores. It is conducted on a rotation basis by 19 national law universities (NLUs) of India.
After 12th, one can apply for CLAT entrance exam as it for 5 year integrated law course which is BA LLB. CLAT exam is conducted once in a year and so your preparations must be good enough to get the admission the same year so that you do not have to wait for a year more.

It totally depends on you that when you should start preparing for CLAT. If you want really good marks in board exams, focus on that at first and then prepare for CLAT. If you can manage boards and CLAT preparation side by side then go for it, but do not affect your board scores.
