The full form of CTU is Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University. Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU) is a public state university located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, India. It was established in 2005 by an act of the Chhattisgarh state legislature with the aim of providing "systematic, efficient and quality education" in engineering, technology, architecture and pharmacy. The university was inaugurated on April 30, 2005 by the then Prime Minister of India, Dr. Manmohan Singh. It affiliates over 60 engineering colleges and 30 Polytechnic colleges across Chhattisgarh.
