The NTA administers the Common University Entrance Test, or CUET UG, as a nationwide entrance exam for admission to UG programs offered by participating institutions. The CUET test was first administered in 2022 and is a prominent UG entrance exam. It provides candidates with a uniform platform to apply for admission to UG programs at prestigious institutions and universities across India. Over 500 places in India and outside host the exam once a year. The exam is administered using a computer. Depending on how many applicants are registered for the entrance exam, the CUET exam is administered in more than one period.
