JEE consists of 2 stages. One is Mains and other is Advance. Based on JEE Mains score, you can get admission in NITs and IIITs. You need to clear JEE Mains to appear for JEE Advance.

JEE consists of 2 stages, one is Mains and other is Advance. Based on Mains marks you can get into NITs and IIITs and IITs are based on JEE advance. At first you need to appear for JEE Mains exam and score qualifying marks to get eligible for JEE Advance exam and you also need to have more than 75% in 12th boards. So, on the basis of your Advance score you can get into IITs.
