    Hi Rupa,
    The career scope for students of B.Sc agriculture is quite ample these days. With the required qualification in addition to the sufficient wok experience, it is possible for aspirants to get good jobs. Those who desire to continue their education into the advanced levels can do so as well.
    Many areas are available for a person to choose from if they wish to go for a career in agriculture.
    Scope for Higher Studies after B.Sc Agriculture
    Once aspirants complete their graduate level program in agriculture, they can go for the M.Sc program in the same field. There are many specializations available for a person to choose from.

    The amount of agricultural output is expected to grow till 2030, says a report by the Food and Agriculture organization. With a projected growth of 1.4% in the aggregate crop production worldwide, the demand for supplies and solutions from industries working in the periphery of the agricultural sector is expected to rise. However, this does not necessarily mean that land under cultivation will rise dramatically. If anything, the agriculture industry will have to find ways to optimize productivity from a given piece of land as the urban sprawl occurs at the cost of arable land.     Hello ! There are ample of opportunities in this field both in Government and in Private sector. Getting a good job depends on various factors like from where you have done your Graduation, your skills, your knowledge about the field, the Industrial experience and exposure if you have any. A graduate/ post-graduate in this field can get appointed as an Agricultural Research Scientist, Agriculture Officer, Production Manager, Farm Manager, etc. Interested students can also opt for jobs in the field of teaching, banking, and insurance.     Many NGOs are present across the country, so a job is more in agricultural sciences, also, you will get quota for GATE (20%), you might get a job in AO and bank agriculture officers, so in India, agriculture science has a very good career prospect.

    In my vision, this field has a great future because to fulfill the need of population every nation requires agriculture and this agriculture science provides a better way to do the same. For an individual person, this field will provide him respect from the society and if he/she pursues research in this field then he/she must provide something new to the society and nation. Hence, he/she will have a great career opportunity and it is a great scope oriented field.
