After the MBA programme, graduates have two options- start up own company/venture or join an event management firm. Qualified event management professionals are in demand these days and are recruited by event management companies big and small. So, by being part of such a company, graduates may get the opportunity to be a part of the team that manages events like- corporate events, seminars, fashion shows, product launches, press meetings, concerts, award ceremonies, exhibitions, weddings, family events, birthday parties, adventure tours and events etc.
Graduates may find job posts such as- Assistant Manager, Safety Manager, Hospitality
    ...more

Salary scope after pursuing event management courses:
Fresh graduates can expect a starting salary of Rs. 2 Lacs to Rs. 2.5 Lacs per annum. However, salary increases with experiences and candidates can expect up to Rs. 4 Lacs per annum after working 2 to 3 years in this industry. If you want better salaries in this field, then the right path would be to pursue MBA of PGDM in event management. After pursuing either of these courses, candidates can get salary packages of up to Rs. 7 Lacs per annum depending on past work experience.
