What is the future scope in logistics and supply chain management?

Supply chain and logistics is a very vast field and it's becoming more and more important in present day context where business and commodities are global, product produced in one country is assembled and packed in other and consumed in some different country. Transportation, manufacturing, logistics, supply chain, warehousing, information system and production planning are backbone of every economy. From agricultural product to mobile phones and pc's, efficient supply-chain and logistic is required by every country. E commerce industry to manufacturing plant to courier companies all require great supply chain and logistic minds to improve efficiency and quality.
