    Hello,
    Thanks for asking.
If you want to, you can go in for a MBA directly after the completion of the graduation. For this, you will need to first appear for all the entrance exams such as CAT, XAT, SNAP etc so that you can get admission in a reputed college.
The MBA qualification broadens and enhances knowledge and should be viewed in a sense of building up skills.

If you want to work in your core field, it is better you get some experience from Manufacturing companies in Production/Maintenance/Design etc. You can consider Management Trainee positions in PSUs, large Manufacturing concerns or even medium sized industries and get the experience. Later, adding MBA qualification will help you to take up managerial positions like factory manager or COO of Manufacturing Units. As a fresher, if you do your MBA, then the major subject if it is marketing will help you to target Industrial products sales & marketing jobs. But for this, you can get a job even without MBA. Scope is very bright if one can get admission in good MBA college and do the program.
Many companies prefer to hire engineers with experience.
Dual program of B.Tech+MBA is not considered a good option.

Like all traditional engineering +MBA, you will be able to join the bandwagon of administrative or management posts on higher side if done from reputed institutes like IIM, BITS, XLRI etc.
