What is the good thing about academics and learning in LPU?

Being a student of LPU, I am eligible to answer your query. I am a B.Tech student at LPU. My experience at LPU is helping me grow professionally and personally with its career-oriented programs and support. At LPU, students get the opportunity to start their organizations or clubs to bring together students who share the same interests. These organizations are independent of the University Administration. The labs are well-equipped with the latest systems in place installed with up-to-date software, guided and monitored by the IT cell. The Central Library is equipped with ample books for the running courses as well as for extra studies. University Hospital caters to the medical needs of the university people with inbuilt pathological labs and physiotherapy services. A humongous ground located near the hostels ensures that each and everyone gets to access the sports and games which they want to play. The cricket, football, and hockey fields can be cited along with the volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, etc. The Division of Student Affairs ensures the cultural environment is maintained here. Students from different cultures and different countries offer a good learning B.Ed to learn and develop a more inclusive mindset. This mindset helps in being more accommodating and less judgmental in personal and professional life. Let's take about some more points related to academics. The best thing about academics here is that they follow innovative teaching methodology and not the old conventional method. And it is all thanks to this method of teaching that students from LPU often make it to the headlines be it from the School of Computer Science and Engineering, Agriculture, Civil, or Mechanical, etc. LPU also focuses on research and entrepreneurship, building up its students to become job providers rather than job seekers. The learners are offered a wide array of Entrepreneurial workshops and programs designed to give them an opportunity to place entrepreneurship principles into practice as start-ups are in. In order to expose the students to the industry standards and benchmarks, the courses at LPU are mapped and are run in line with industry requirements.

Hi dear, Many of my relatives and in fact children of my clients are studying in Lpu. Few are you doing B.Tech whereas others are doing an MBA. We generally have had words about their studies that how is it going. So during those conversations, I observed that generally, Lpu has an academic session of two semesters whereas, for an MBA, LPU has a trimester session. The first semester is from August to December and the other is from January to May. For MBA, the first trimester starts from August to October, the second is from November to February, and the final and the third trimester concluded from March to May. Being in the campus for 2 years, I believe I can recall a few things about teaching and learning atmosphere in LPU. Teaching-learning process followed in the University is outcome-based, adopts an interactive approach. Some of the Highlights of teaching-learning process are as follows: Rich cultural diversity with students from all states of India and 39 countries. Eligibility criteria for admission, fee structure etc. Are displayed on the University website for all programme. Transparent IT-driven admission process in which all stages can be completed in online mode. LPU conducts national admission test LPU NEST in over 200 cities with demand ratio of 1:12 Remedial/Summer classes and personal mentorship are provided to support slow learners. Advanced learners are encouraged to undertake projects, advanced courses, MOOCs, participate in national/international events. Participative and Experiential learning is encouraged through intensive classroom interaction, live/field projects, lab-work, workshops, simulations, case studies, design problems etc. Intensive usage of ICT enabled tools for design, data analysis, live digital exercises and demonstrations, simulations, virtual labs, etc. Faculty mentors are provided to all students for the complete duration of the programme. The Teacher-Student ratio of 1:15 to facilitate better student connect and effective teaching. Rich diversity of faculty with 75%+ from outside the state. A lot of good things are there. The university is student-centric. They try to educate students and develop skills in them according to industry. Syllabuses are updated on regular basis according to changing demands of the industry. The campus is quite safe and secure with cameras and security personnel. Very good residential facilities are available inside Campus only. They have excellent sports facilities also inside the campus and focuses on the overall development of the student in addition to studies and many more which cannot be summarised in one post. Go for it.
