NIT Trichy has top-notch placements offering quite excellent packages. According to some unofficial sources, As of May 22, 2024, the highest package offered at NIT Trichy is estimated to be INR 52.89 Lakhs per Annum. Official placement reports for the 2024 batch are not available yet.

NIT Trichy offers placement assistance to students. The top companies taking part in the placement drive at the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli are Google, Facebook, Oracle, Infosys, and others. The highest package offered in 2022 was INR 40 LPA and 43 companies visited the campus.
