Near about 75% candidates get placed, and their average salary package is approximately about INR 3 LPA, while the lowest one is almost about INR 2 LPA. At the recent placement session held at North Eastern Regional Institute of Management, the maximum salary offered stood at 12 Lacs per annum. In 2023, 129 students out of the batch were placed,
with an average package of 7.8 Lacs per annum. The drive saw participation from 28 firms out of which major recruiters include ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank.

According to the students, the highest package offered at North Eastern Regional Institute of management was around 8LPA. The average package was around 3 LPA only. The placement packages are not very high. Approximately half of the total batch get placed every year. Top recruiters were are ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Extramatk Education, Flipkart, etc. According to the students, internship opportunities are provided to every student which help them to get job quickly. So, overall the placements are decent and you are adviced not to expect much from placements.
