Whenever someone asks me about the placement of Computer Science and Engineering, then LPU comes always to my mind. The highest package for CSE at LPU in 2020 was 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft company. The curriculum for CSE is very good and organized. The course structure of the first year includes crisp knowledge of other streams including subjects like environmental Science and Biology. The best part of the course structure is students learn 23 programming languages in their first year. Later, in the second year, they start learning advanced languages, new skills which are trending in the market like python and Java. By the end of the second year, students are requested to choose the specializations. This is the choice that determines their careers. Different specializations offered are: Data Science Big data Cybersecurity Android development IoT Also allows the students to opt electives out of the stream like Tourism Fingerprinting technology Forensic sciences Psychology 5. Missile Technology and many more. After completion of the second year, students must and should do relevant summer internships on the specialisation they choose or should undergo summer training in the interested technology. Later in the third year, they learn deeply in their areas of interest and simultaneously university prepares them for the placements. They give intensive training on soft skills, verbal ability, quantitative aptitude, and logical reasoning. The best option university gives for final year students is to grab an opportunity to gain corporate experience. Here, many students work hard to gain campus placement with the skills they got from the last 3 years. LPU also encourages students who get goop opportunities off the campus. This is the curriculum that LPU follows to make its students excel. Many events like Hackathons, coding competitions will be held in the university where students receive awards, placement opportunities. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Students also go for on-job training (OJT) where they are paid stipend too. The course provides instil knowledge in the major areas of Computer Science and Engineering such as Artificial Intelligence, Networking, Databases, Data Analytics, Web Development and Cloud Computing. Student will be given an option to go for 4 weeks study tour to USA/ European countries or any other country Professional Enhancement- In addition to core curricula, course offers subjects like communication, analytical and soft skills to enhance personality and employability. University has tie -ups with Upgrade for few B.Tech specializations. It is one of its kind, undergraduate programme to impart expertise of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence having the right mix of industry and academic experts. The package really depends on what he can show to the recruiters that, how much he is worth or deserved. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 42 LPA, while many failed to do so. On an average the CSE students of LPU is offered and placed in the starting package of 4.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Like I said, LPU will provide you the platform and the opportunity, but it is really you who have to go and perform on the platform being provided. I hope that helps you to make a wiser decision. Hi there, I am an alumnus of LPU. I have done BCA at LPU is a place where a person can learn many things. The main thing I have learned is management and discipline. I have taken BCA after Diploma and some of my classmates took B.Tech and some BCA like me and some have backlogs. After B.Tech one of my friends got a 15LPA package from Amazon. Hello sahiba, The highest domestic CTC offered in phase-I IIT Bombay placements is Rs 45 Lacs per annum. On the other hand, the highest international CTC offered in phase-I placements is $1.64 Lacs.

The highest package for CSE at LPU in 2020 was 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft company. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of the students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. I'm alumni of lpu and from my experience, I can say lpu is the best, it has the best infrastructure and professional faculty is there who are always there for students.
