I did MBA at LPU and can answer better this question. The highest package for an MBA programme at LPU is 21 LPA.
On average, the MBA students of LPU are offered and placed in the starting package of 4.5 TO 6 LPA(Fixed salary).
Every year around 100-150 companies visit LPU to recruit MBAs. Among the companies are some big names like Amazon, Flipkart, Moody Analytics, ICICI, HDFC, AXIS, FEDERAL BANK, WNS GLOBAL, ITC, 99 Acres, COLGATE, ASIAN PAINTS, BERGER, NERO LAC, CAVIN CARE, etc, from all domains visit LPU to recruit the students and these are good companies.

In LPU MBA programme comes Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation. Last year in MBA students got package of max 16 Lacs per annum and the average packages were of 5 Lacs per annum. In Lovely Professional University The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th among the other universities for its placement records. The Eligibility of MBA is Pass with 55% aggregate marks in Bachelors degree (any discipline) or equivalent and Interview or Completed .

Till now highest salary is Rs 15 lakhs. Still placements are going on.

MBA-IT has around a package of Rs 14 lakh though the companies prefer engineers for that which is obvious. Still, the package for MBA in IT is satisfactory and with an average of Rs 10 LPA.
