NIFT was originally established in 1996 under the aegis of the Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. NIFT Jodhpur is one of 17 campuses established under NIFT (National Institute of Fashion Technology). This college was established in 2010 and offers postgraduate, undergraduate, and Continuing Education (CE) programmes to students. Earlier it was functioning from its temporary campus at Sojati Gate and now it is running from its permanent campus at Karwar.
