The hostel fee structure for BHU is INR 3,000 - INR 4,000 per semester depending upon the degree. The hostel fee does not include mess charges. Banaras Hindu University is spread across a 1,300-acre campus. There are 41 hostels for boys and 21 for girls. Additionally, there is separate accommodation for international students. All the hostels have basic amenities like water purifiers, a common room, recreation room, mess, TV, laundry services, security and surveillance system, etc. -
The hostel fee at BHU including mess charge is the hostel fee payment in the beginning, the main faculty hostel charge was around 4000 and the hostel fee was 4500. Mess charge is 40-50/diet (+150/month service charge) on weekdays, there are two diets; on Sundays, there is only one diet, but it is unique, so it is classified as a double diet. So, it is about 80-100 rupees every day. If you go home or don't want to go to mess for some reason, just inform mess manager and you will not be charged. So, roughly it will be 3000 to 4000 rupees/semester.
