Panjab University hostels include 17 residential halls on the campus, out of which 8 are for male students and the rest 7 are for female students. There is another hostel that is available for the working women of Panjab University. The hostels are named after historical personalities who played a very crucial role in shaping the destiny of our nation, like Sarojini Nadu, Lala Lajpat Rai, Savitri Bai Phule, and Swami Vivekananda to name a few. Panjab University hostels are made to accommodate over 6000 students. Hostel fees for boys and girls is about 20,000 with all facilities.
