The college does not have a hostel service in the campus premises as it is an off campus college. There are PGs near by where the students can stay, the expense for PGs would depend on the types of rooms you take. On an average the cost would be around Rs. 6,500 around Shahdara and can vary depending on the location. Do check for PGs in person and only then decide, for campus facilities hostel you would have to visit the on- campus hostels which are around 25 minutes away from Shyam Lal College.

Shyam Lal College is a constituent college of the University of Delhi. The hostel facilities are available for female students only. The college has two hostels - Gargi Girls' Hostel and Sarojini Girls' Hostel. The hostel fees for the academic year 2022-23 are as follows:
1. Gargi Girls' Hostel:

- Mess charges: Rs. 42,000 per annum
