HPCET 2023 Eligibility Criteria Bachelor of Technology (Direct): The student must have passed class 12th or its equivalent exam from a recognized board or university with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Technical Vocational subjects, securing at least 45 percent marks for the general category and 40 percent in the case of students belonging to the reserved category in the relevant subjects taken together.
Basic admission criteria for Bachelor of Technology programs:
In case the seats remain vacant after exhausting the merit of the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) and Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET), the remaining seats will be filled up based on the merit of the 12th standard examination conducted by a recognized board or university. The number of seats remaining vacant after taking admission based on each HPCET test or examination will be shifted and filled based on the next HPCET text or examination in continuous order.
HPCET 2023 Application Form: The authorities have commenced the Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) 2023 application form process. Applicants will have to fill out and submit the application form before the final date, which is April 30, to participate in the HPCET entrance examination. While filling out the HPCET application form, the applicants will have to provide their personal, academic, and contact details. All of the details have to be as per the documents possessed by the applicants. Correct information regarding the marks obtained at the national level and the 10th and 12th qualifying exams have to be provided. The required Himachal Pradesh Common Entrance Test (HPCET) application fee has to be paid online.
