There isn't a fixed "ideal" GRE score for the MS in Computer Science from Harvard. However, competitive applicants would score 165+ in the Quantitative section and 160+ in the Verbal section. A high score in the Quantitative is highly necessary because the programme has technical nature. Analytical Writing should be ideally 4.0 or above but is less stressed. Harvard's MS in CSE doesn't have a fixed "ideal" GRE score, but a good range would be:

    1. Verbal: 160+
    2. Quantitative: 165+
    3. Writing: 4.5+

I want to tell you that, GRE scores are just one part of the application. They also look at things like your grades, research experience, recommendation letters, and statement of purpose. Some applicants with lower GRE scores get in if they have strong qualifications in other areas.

SEAS does not accept General GRE scores nor Subject Test GRE scores. They take into consideration various aspects in addition to the GRE score like a very strong and appealing SOP, strong LORs, decent work experience (if applicable) and a good looking past academic record. Although the minimum GRE requirements are not cited on the official course pages, the average score of students admitted is around 330.
