What is the ideal time frame to prepare for the IAS examination

Hi, I am an IAS aspirant and currently employed in private sector software organization for past 5 years. So far I have not started my preparations. Please let me know if it is a good idea for a working professional to try for IAS exams or should I have to quit and then think about preparaion

if you have sufficient time you try for these exam and if you pay full attention to ur heath diet and consontration u can crack this
