What is the IIT placement this year?

<p>Here are some updates on IIT placements for 2024:</p><p>Average and the highest packages</p><p>At IIT Bombay, the average package was more than doubled at Rs 23.5 Lacs compared to the previous year's performance and a 7.7% overall increase. This year's the highest package at IIT Bombay was 3.67 crores. Salary package at IIT Kanpur was the highest of Rs 1.9 crore.&nbsp;</p><p>Number of students placed</p><p>Even the campus placement however came down as a result of which total number of students placed through campus drive at IIT Bombay were relatively less. Still 2024 batch of IITs had 38 % of students who were yet to get placed.&nbsp;</p><p>Top recruiters</p><p>Few of the best recruiting companies for IIT Delhi are Procter and Gamble, Sony Japan, Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Tata.&nbsp;</p><p>Placement season</p><p>The recruitment process at IIT Delhi for the students of batch 2024 started on 1st December and will go on until May.&nbsp;</p><p>Four pointed out that these placement figures may not actually depict the facts because it does no reflect how many students actually took up higher education.&nbsp;</p>
