Freshmen Induction at LPU is a four to five days process of interaction between freshers and faculty members, where you came to know about university rules, exam pattern, co- curricular activities throughout session, how the ums (university management system)works. As well as they will introduces you to the life at the university, the academic procedures, as well as all the platforms and opportunities that will be made available to you during your time here. It tells you how to start yourself from the beginning so that you do excel in your course as well as expose your talent. So, it is expected that you attend it without fail. The classes immediately commences after the Induction is over.

Under the LPU Freshmen Induction programme 2021, new students are introduced to life at the University, the academic procedures, as well as all the platforms. Starting new session for Batch 2021 in July/ August 2020. Completing 1st and 2nd semester for 2020 batch students on time in December 2020 and May 2021 respectively. Started Online classes: To ensure that the precious time of the students is not lost, LPU started with live online classes immediately after the announcement of lockdown in March 2020. Developing LPU MyClass, an in-house robust platform, in collaboration with some of the best tech companies for online teaching and evaluation. Live online classes, much like face-to-face classes whose effectiveness has already been well tested in the last two semesters wherein more than 1,00,000 hours of online sessions were conducted for LPU students across various academic programs. These classes will continue till physical classes are permitted by the government and we are certain that you will enjoy this experience, which has its own charm and advantages, to prepare you for the technology-dominated future. Continued our focus on holistic development of the students, conducted 1000+ cultural events, co-curricular activities community projects, Expert lectures, and Conferences in the Pandemic year. Witnessed one of the best placement sessions even in this Pandemic by securing 7000+ offers for jobs, internships, training, etc. For Batch 2021 also, LPU is fully equipped and prepared to start the session on time (July/ August 2021) with much more strong commitment and experience. There are different activities which is made for your entertainment moreover to know your hidden talent if you have any. So you must participate in those events which you like it will make you popular in university. Activities are called freshers got talent which consists of Dance, singing, Modelling etc. There will be a university tour, city tour as well. Here you will get a chance to make new friends from different courses. So one should must go for induction it is a fresh start for freshers. Its fun to join. Later on there is no need to ask anyone regarding exams pattern, placement queries or whatever on your mind. A new student should attend the induction. Student induction is designed to help in the whole process. Purpose of the student induction programme is to help new students adjust and feel comfortable in the new environment, inculcate in them the ethos and culture of the institution, help them build bonds with other students and faculty members, and expose them to a sense of larger purpose and self-exploration.
