What is the internship duration in MBBS? What kind of training do students receive?

<p>The internship is called MBBS Internship (Compulsory Rotating Medical Internship - CRMI), 12 Months duration. It is compulsory after completing MBBS (4.5 years). Students perform rotating hands-on activities in various departments like Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Emergency Medicine.</p><p>Interns will be working under senior doctors with responsibilities for real patients, surgeries, basic medical procedures, and emergencies. The internship provides a practical experience that links theory and clinical practice while preparing students to be autonomous practitioners or for higher learning such as MD/MS.</p>
