Cutoff varies greatly depending upon the category of the student. JEE Advance cutoff for BSc admission at IISc Bangalore for General Category in 2025 was 2263. Cutoff was 4301 for General-female.

To get admission to the BSc (Research) in Physics at IISc Bangalore through JEE Main, Students need a rank around 903 or better in the General (All India) category, as per the last round closing rank in 2024.
