For checking this you can go on different websites like JOSA for all the NIITS and state Counselling website, which show the last year rank and cut off for particular branch. This will help you to decide which college is best for you.

It depends on institutions. Still, if you go for NITs, IIITs and central universities then all the stats are present on JoSAA and CSAB website. Moreover, Shiksha College Predictor is a good option to estimate the cut-off.
