Based on recent trends, Computer Science (CS) may require 20,000–30,000 rank, while Electronics (EC) could range 30,000–45,000. Mechanical/Civil branches often close near 50,000–70,000. Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC) typically see 5–15% lower cutoffs.

    The SDIT implements different cutoff rankings based on various engineering fields during KCET admissions. The cutoff rank numbers for BE in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning during the 2024 admissions Round 1 was 82,600 and Computer Science and Engineering had a similar cutoff rank of 91,343. 

    Competition levels in admissions at SDIT become evident through their COMEDK UGET cutoff ranks. In 2024 the closing rank for BE in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning at SDIT was 52,876 and for BE in Computer Science and Engineering the rank was 97,600.
