Dear Nitin, The last date of admission in BSc Agriculture is 15th July, but I recommend take admission asap because it is very rare to get admission in LPU for BSc Agriculture. LPU is the first private university that got approval by ICAR. (i). The school of Agriculture was approved for accreditation for period of five years with GPAC of 3.42 (ii) The following degree programs were approved for accreditations for a period of five yearsB.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture with GPAP of 3.72 Let me share the eligibility criteria for admission in B.Sc. Agriculture programme Eligibility Criteria: Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or Intermediate (with English, Physics, Chemistry and Maths or Biology or Forestry) OR 10+2 or Intermediate (Agriculture) OR 2 years Diploma in Agriculture after 10th or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. The demand for graduates with a degree in agriculture is increasing every day in India and abroad. Course fees are also considerably lower than other professional degrees while rewarding good jobs and a better package.<br>LPU is well known for its B.Sc(Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified, and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held. If a faculty wants a leave, either the makeup lectures are planned, or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream, as most of the work is fieldwork, every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks under the supervision of the staff.<br>If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement-oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I want to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms. So, hurry up and apply before 31st May.<br>Thanks</p>

The last date to apply for LPUNEST is 25th May. The scope is generally into agricultural field in manufacturing and researching on fields, crops , quality and manufacturing products related to that. Placements are generally nice with around 4 lakh per annum average.
